Situated in the heart of Redditch's town centre, North East Worcestershire College provides the community with a spectacular range of facilities for the Further, Higher and Adult Education.
Over the last ten years the Campus has been the focus of major re-developments as part of an accommodation strategy that has seen the College invest around £45million into it's facilities. Following recent further projects Redditch Campus now boasts a dedicated Sixth Form Centre that combines A Level studies in a College environment.
The College is also contributing to the community in more ways than just its location, as part of the Redditch Partnership, the College has pledged its support to the key initiatives as outlined by the Local Strategic Partnership (LSP) in order to improve the quality of life for people in that area.
Archers Restaurant provides a realistic working environment where Hospitality and Catering students can, as part of their course, gain knowledge and build their skills for the industry. The facility includes extensive professional kitchens, a bar area and restaurant.
The restaurant is open to the public for lunches and evening dining and offers a variety of foods specialising in fine British and French Cuisine at value for money prices with a service that is formal and of a standard expected in top hotels.
Fusion
Open to the public, the Fusion Hair and Beauty Salons at NEW College's Redditch Campus offer high quality services and excellent value for money.
Created in order to provide realistic working environments for hairdressing, barbering, beauty and complementary therapy students, Fusion helps students gain industrial knowledge and hands on practical experience all important customer care skills by working on paying clients.
Sixth Form Centre
The Sixth Form Centre (SFC) located at the Redditch Campus in a separate building, large enough to be able to offer the widest range of subject combinations, but small enough to be able to provide the care and support each individual student needs to be successful. In the Sixth Form Centre, as elsewhere throughout NEW College the emphasis is on good teaching and active support in a friendly and adult atmosphere.
Redditch United Partnership
The ongoing partnership with Redditch United sees the College providing vital sponsorship that, in return, will ensure the College's sports students on football-related courses continue to receive training and play home games at the Valley Stadium.
As part of this partnership, Reds' first team coach and former Premiership player Graham Hyde oversees the students' training.
