Service Industries - Annual Student Awards Ceremony

On Tuesday 29 June NEW College held the Service Industries annual student awards ceremony on the Redditch Campus.
The awards are given to students in recognition for their 'outstanding' achievements during the year. The awards also pay special tribute to the quality of work the students produce, and their overall positive approach to their course and their studies
Staff from the department were on hand during the evening to present the awards and say a few words about each of the worthy winners. Tricia Burton, Vice Principal was also in attendance to help with the prize giving, and closed the evening by recognising the achievements of the staff and students within the department.
Awards were handed out for students who had completed qualifications in the following areas:-
- Hairdressing
- Beauty Therapy
- Hair and Beauty Combined
- Complementary Therapies
- Hospitality & Catering
- Sports
- Uniformed Public Services
It was a fantastic event and a true celebration of student success at NEW College. Thanks to all the staff and students that attended and made it such a memorable evening.
