This is an Advanced Practitioners qualification, students must have a Level 3 qualification and be employed in a childcare setting. Those wishing to progress to teacher training must have GCSE Grade C in Maths, English and Science.

Course Description
This qualifiation will build on candidates existing knowledge and experience. It may enable you yo progress to a teaching qualification and wider career prospects.
The course is designed for experienced practitioners in Early Years and Play-work. You may specialise in Early Years setting (0-3 years) Foundation stage, Teaching Assistant or Play-work.
How is the Qualification Achieved ?
Modules will be assessed in a variety of ways including assignments and work based projects.
On Successful Completion of this Course
To progress to Early Childhood Studies Degree, Teacher Training, or progression within the Early Years field.
*There is an opportunity to "Top-up" to a full degree at University of Worcester on completion of the Foundation Degree
