AutoCAD 2D Intermediate C&G 4353 (Computer Aided Design)

C&G 4353-2 Level 3

Entry Requirements

A level 2 qualification in CAD (eg OCN Introduction to AutoCAD) or adequate practical experience having used CAD in the workplace. From your previous CAD experience you should be able to set up your work area, set up and use layers, text, dimensions, drawing and modification commands including arrays. You must be confident in the use of the keyboard, mouse and file management. Please discuss with college staff should you require further guidance.

Course Description

This award is a Vocationally Related Qualification in CAD. It has been designed by City & Guilds to meet customers’ needs for more up to date and flexible qualifications.

How is the Qualification Achieved ?

Assessment is via 2 assignments and a computer based multi-choice exam.

On Successful Completion of this Course

Progress onto City and Guilds 4353-03 3D Computer Aided Design or other similar level 3 qualification such as Autodesk�s Inventor or Mechanical Desktop may enhance your career prospects working with CAD systems
