Course Description

A nationally recognised vocational qualification course which will give you a good introduction to AutoCAD and enable progression to further study.
The course includes:
Drawing Structure - Layers, line type and colour
Drawing Production - Drawing aids
Drawing Commands - Geometry, dimensions and text
Prototype Drawings - Their production and printing
Drawing Inserts - Use of symbol libraries

How is the Qualification Achieved ?

Formal assessment will be in the form of four drawing assignments and a short written test. The evidence should be presented as a portfolio for external verification

On Successful Completion of this Course

The course is designed to enable anyone to progress to C&G courses based on AutoCAD (see separate information sheet) City & Guilds 4353-02-2D CAD and 4353-03-3D CD
