AAT Intermediate level, BTEC National or equivalent qualification.
Exceptions are given for other qualifications and work experience.

One year/flexible.
Course Description
This course builds upon the skills and knowledge gained at Level 3. At Level 4, students learn how to draft financial statements for limited companies, perform complex management accounting tasks and develop management skills.
How is the Qualification Achieved ?
Continued assessment through a combination of devolved skills tests & centrally set examinations.
On Successful Completion of this Course
Completion of the AAT qualification can lead to entry to other professional qualifications or into the job market; a vast range of individual jobs from accounts clerks and book-keepers, through supervisory levels of areas of financial management.

The course includes:
COMPULUSORY UNITS: Contributing to the management of performance & enhancement of value. Contributing to the planning & control resources. Managing systems & people in the accounting environment. Health & Safety. Drafting financial statements (Accounting practice, industry & commerce)
OPTIONAL UNITS: (2 from 4): Implementing auditing procedures. Preparing business tax computationsl; Preparing personal tax computations; Operating cash management & credit control systems.
No work experience is included in the course but students should be working in a relevant environment.
