Entry Requirements
No formal qualifications but you will need to demonstrate suitable numerical & communication skills. Accreditation will be given for prior learning.
If you are between 16 and under 25 you maybe eligible to study fully through the apprenticeship programme, which is fully government funded.

Course Description
The AAT accounting qualification focuses on the practical skills and knowledge needed to be a successful accounting professional. This course will develop skills in double entry book-keeping and give an understanding of management and administrative processes. Students will learn how to use manual and computerised accounting systems and to work with the purchase ledger, sales ledger and general ledger.
How is the Qualification Achieved ?
Continued assessment through a combination of devolved skill tests and centrally set examinations.
On Successful Completion of this Course
You will progress through the three stages of the course. The AAT qualification offers a vast range of job opportunities from accounts clerks and book-keepers through to supervisory positions.
