Entry Requirements
The AAT Foundation level, or granted exemption from the Foundation Stage by the AAT.
If you are between 16 and under 25 you maybe eligible to study fully through the apprenticeship programme, which is fully government funded.

Course Duration
One year/flexible.
Course Description
This course builds upon the skills and knowledge gained at Level 2. The focus at Level 3 is on more complicated accounting tasks, including the preparation of final accounts for sole traders and partnerships.
How is the Qualification Achieved ?
Continued assessment through a combination of devolved skill tests and centrally set examinations.
On Successful Completion of this Course
You will progress through three stages of the course. The AAT qualification offers a vast range of job opportunities from accounts clerks and book-keepers through to supervisory positions.

Monitoring Health & Safety in the Workplace. Maintaining Financial Records & Preparing Accounts. Preparing Reports & Returns. Recording & Evaluating Costs & Returns. Working with Computers.
No work experience element is included in the course but students should be working in a relevant environment.
