If you’re considering any of our courses your creativity will be the key to success. Don’t worry if though for example if you’d like the idea of drawing but you feel you can’t draw, we can help you develop your skills.
Art and Design
The majority of the College’s Art & Design courses are delivered at the Bromsgrove Campus. The Campus is welcoming to students with a friendly, independent atmosphere. The studios and workshops are extensive and exceptionally well equipped for the whole range of art and design activities including 3D, Ceramics, Photography, Painting, Graphics, Printmaking and Textiles.
NEW College has over twenty five years of experience in the delivery of art and design courses providing the students with a comprehensive introduction to Art & Design disciplines, leading to pathways towards a specialised route. This experience is reflected in a high proportion of students who progress into Higher Education from these courses. Creative Courses are intellectually challenging and will enable students to develop a range of exciting skills and techniques, personal qualities and attributes necessary for individual development. Theory and practise are integrated to ensure that the qualification supports career prospects and educational progression
Performing Arts, Music Technology and Media
The Artrix in Bromsgrove is used during the day as a base for delivering performing arts, media and music technology courses. You will also be using the venue occasionally during the evening for events either associated with performing arts or other areas of Creative Studies. The college studios and workshops are extensive and exceptionally well equipped for film editing, recording and band rehearsal
These Practical hands on courses bring together students with a wide variety of interests related to performance, music and media. Students regularly collaborate on a variety of performance projects. Live Public performances take place throughout the course. Any of the courses will challenge you to develop your performance skills and show you the importance of team-work, giving you opportunity to join in with a group on and off stage or in a band.
